NAST emerging researcher PhD fellowship 2025

Huge congratulations to Ms. Jaya Dhungana, GlohMed investigator and executive member, who has been awarded PhD fellowship by the Nepal Academy of Science & Technology (NAST), an autonomous apex body under the Ministry of Education, Science and Technology. Ms. Dhungana was selected out of tough competition among many deserving applicants.

This fellowship honors Nepali PhD students who have been conducting research in science & technology field; provides monthly stipend for up to 3 years to support their research. Ms. Dhungana is pursuing PhD in Public health from Kathmandu University School of Medical Sciences (KUSMS), Dhulikhel, with research focus on maternal health, particularly the clinical care and control of pregnancy-induced hypertension (PIH) among pregnant women in selected hospitals of Nepal.
