Participation in ESC Congress 2025, Madrid

In September 2025, GlohMed researcher and EC member Ms. Jaya Dhungana attended the World Congress of Cardiology held in Madrid. She presented her scientific research on “Hypertensive disorders of pregnancy and the factors associated”, a part of her PhD thesis work at Kathmandu University School of Medical Sciences (KUSMS).

This prestigious congress was attended by 33,000+ participants from 169 countries, mostly cardiologists, nurses, public health practitioners, clinical researchers and policymakers. The royal address of ESC congress by the King of Spain signifies the global burden of cardiac illnesses and the value of scientific discourse at such a large scale.
