Annual Meeting of VALIDATE Network 2024, Bangkok (Presentation)

GlohMed continues to be an active participant of VALIDATE meetings. Following the 2023 meeting in London, this year’s event took place in Bangkok where global health researchers came together to share their work on tuberculosis, melioidosis and leishmaniasis. During the meeting, Dr. Suraj Bhattarai, an associate member of the network, presented a poster titled “Urgent need to implement a simple laboratory diagnostic algorithm to detect B. pseudomallei in low-resource highly endemic settings like Nepal”. GlohMed is implementing a melioidosis prevalence pilot study at two sites in Nepal, in collaboration with Medical University of Graz, Austria.
