Seminar on “Maternal-newborn health services and importance of quality data”, Nepalgunj
GlohMed organized an event in Bheri Hospital, a government run facility in Nepalgunj, Banke to review maternal-neonatal data that our team has collected. Bheri Hospital is one of our sites for “ANC study”.
The meeting explored evidence-based solutions to improve quality of care being provided to the pregnant women visiting the facility. Additionally, our team emphasized the value of maintaining medical records and routine auditing of data, which contributes to the government’s national goal of reducing the rate of adverse maternal and perinatal outcomes of pregnancies.
We express our sincere gratitude to the Medical Superintendent of the Hospital, hospital administration, Heads of OBGYN and Paediatric departments, consultant clinicians, nurses, midwives, IT staff, and allied health professionals. Many thanks to Dr. Rabin Thami (GlohMed) and Mrs. Srijana Neupane (Bheri Hospital), for moderating the discussion.
